Interesting info surfacing here, Eaton County and Grand Ledge officials from the Detroit areas where Batman: The Dark Knight Rises is currently location scouting state that Warner's production team are looking for a hideout for Robin. The report originated from the website for Michigan television station WILX. Previous details emerged from location scouting that Warner Bros. were looking for a "water treatment plant" and "underground vault area" AICN brought the info to the fore:>
"According to Eaton County and Grand Ledge officials who didn't want to be identified due to confidentiality agreements, production crews from "The Dark Knight Rises" scouted locations in Grand Ledge's Fitzgerald Park last week. They looked at the Ledges as well as a water treatment plant located inside the park. Sources say the area is being considered as a hideout for Batman sidekick Robin."
This is to be filed under rumor especially when Christian Bale stated he would "refuse to work" if Robin was involved in one of the Movies, well albeit in a maybe not so serious way, but Christopher Nolan has a flair for final acts. This may well be some salt passing going on here especially with the recent announcement of Joseph Gordon Levitt coming aboard. The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled for release on July 20, 2012.
