20th Century Fox's Die Hard 5 has a director, Noam Murro best known for his debut feature Smart People will be helm the movie. Although Murro has only directed one feature film, he has been nominated five times by the GA for his extensive commercials work. The news comes via Deadline. The movie is set to be the fifth outing of Detective John McClane [Bruce Willis], albeit the star has yet to put pen to paper to sign on to the role but its pretty much a given considering he has been interviewing prospective directors. The script is being penned by screenwriter Skip Woods whom reportedly is facing re-writes directed by the Studios. The previous installment Live Free or Die Hard /Die Hard 4.0 was released in 2007 and was a pretty good picture grossing $383.5 million worldwide.
