Ridley Scott has cast Michael Fassbender in his Prometheus. THR report the German/Irish actor joins Noomi Rapace in the highly anticipated science fiction behemoth, which at one point was a prequel to Scott's 1979 Alien. Incidentally Prometheus was yesterday given a highly lucrative June 8th 2012 summer release date from it’s previous March 2012. Rapace will play a scientist, Elizabeth Shaw and its speculated that Fassbender will play "David" an Android in the upcoming film.
