MIA WASIKOWSKA REPLACES CARRIE MULLIGAN IN [STOKER]


Mia Wasikowska [Alice in Wonderland] is in negotiations to star in Chan-wook Park's thriller Stoker according to Deadline. The script was written by Wentworth Miller [Prison Break] under the pseudonym Ted Foulke. Ridley and older brother Tony Scott are producing the thriller with Michael Costigan under their Scott Free banner. The Australian actress will play an eccentric teen who experiences strange events when her enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl's father. Carey Mulligan was set to play the role, but has since dropped out.
