Neil Blomkamp's cast list is growing impressively for his epic sci-fi behemoth Elysium. Jodie Foster will join Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley. Deadline report that although Media Rights Capital the project hasn’t been shopped to the studios yet, Foster is now on board. Little is known plot wise but what details are out there is that it takes place in the distant future and on another planet. While story details on the film are slim Blomkamp described it last year as “totally original, it’s my own story…It’s set on another planet, but it’s cool. It’s violent, very violent."
