QED International and Prime Universe Productions have purchased the rights to Felipe Linz' pitch for Alien Sleeper Cell [working title]. Producers Bill Block [District 9] and Adrian Askarieh [Hitman] are putting together the project. Screenwriter Morgan Davis Foehl is tasked with penning the script. Not a lot of info is out there as all plot details are closely guarded but the movie is described as a "high tension alien invasion picture with the tone of The Bourne Identity and with a very fresh and surprising take on the genre." Block and Askarieh will produce along with Paul Hanson, Linz and Will Rowboatham. No studio is attached at this time, but Block's QED is seeking independent financing once the script is completed.
