An image has made its way into the hands of JoBlo.com and it’s allegedly a piece of conceptual art that reveals what may be the Area 51 creature that escaped from a derailed train in the Super 8 teaser trailer. The image was sent via an IMDB user SS-Cotapaxi with the explanation of why it's totally legit:
"So, my friend's brother's wife works for a company that does marketing for films, video games, music, etc. Occasionally she'll get chain mails from these companies which aren't supposed to go to them. A few days ago she received a chain mail intended for production staff within Paramount." And voila:
Its an interesting creation. Its under-armed webbing and general aquatic-like appearance certainly ties in with the fishing aspects of the movie as presented on the viral site Hook, line, and minker. And the photo is seemingly further authenticated by the Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot logos tagged at the bottom of the image. The image whether real or completely fake does have Cloverfield elements. Is there a connection? Well the only way to tell that its real is if we get a swift letter from Paramount.
