DUNCAN JONES' [SOURCE CODE] WILL OPEN SXSW 2011

Some good news for director Duncan Jones, his follow up to his debut Moon and second feature film Source code will open the South by Southwest [SXSW] Film Conference and Festival. Source Code will have its world premiere on March 11, 2011, the opening night of the fest.

In a press release, Film Conference and Festival Producer Janet Pierson stated:

"We are delighted to welcome Duncan Jones back to SXSW. His debut Moon showed an intelligence, skill, and exceptional use of limited resources that’s exactly the kind of filmmaking we love to support… Source Code is a terrific follow-up; it’s a smart, suspenseful thriller, and a perfect fit for our 2011 Opening Night!"

Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright and Russell Peters. Check out the trailer here. Source Code will open across theaters April 1, 2011.
