Clint Mansell will now not be scoring Source Code. The composer will not repeat his Moon collaboration with director Duncan Jones. The director later confirmed via his twitter account that "We weren't able to work out a schedule so Clint could do the score in the end. He has been a very busy bee." Chris Bacon, is stepping in to fill Mansell's shoes. Bacon has scored Love Ranch and Alpha & Omega. Jones described Bacon as "a very talented young guy... who was recommended to me by my editor, the legendary Paul Hirsch." It seems Mansell has left Source Code to go and work on Darren Aronofsky's The Wolverine. "Darren and I need to agree to some kind of divorce settlement to see which of us gets Clint on weekends," quips Jones.
