This week MGM canceled on re-making Paul Verhoeven's Robocop but now their is another of his Films that is being targeted. Len Wiseman [Die-Hard] is now in negotiations to remake Total Recall.
Heat Vision reports that Wiseman is in talks with Sony Colombia to update the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger Juggernaut. Schwarzenegger played a construction worker who decided to take a virtual vacation to Mars via technological advancements of the Rekall company, who implant fake memories in peoples subconscious. Eventually he discovers he is a freedom fighter from Mars who has been relocated to Earth.
Originally based on Philip K Dick's story "We remember it for you wholesale". Kurt Wimmer [Equilibrium, Salt] is penning the script.
