The first images from the set of Steven Speilberg's Warhorse have surfaced online. The images apparently were taken a few weeks ago in the village of Meavy, England.
The plot centers around a horse named Joey who is sold to the army during World War I and who longs to return home to Albert, the farmer’s son he left behind. The film stars Jeremy Irvine, Peter Mullan (Boy A), Emily Watson (Synecdoche, New York), David Thewlis (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Stephen Graham (Public Enemies), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Whistleblower), and Tom Hiddleston (Thor).
